Two things-
As someone else pointed out, that was a light shower. I remember in 95 the
Ft. Worth (I worked there then) storm with 6" hail. Pea size, most cars will
weather that just fine.
Also, you need to fix the NOT part. Life`s too short to NOT have fun.
For my one car that is not in the garage I have a plan for work and a plan
for home where I can get it to a place where it will be safe from hail. But
you need to have an early warning system (weather alerts) and the ability to
cut and run.
When I lived in Colleyville, TX (near Ft. Worth) the place was Baylor
Hospital lot
